π New York Jets
I never expected a win in this game, however, I did expect a better offensive performance, even against a tough D like the Vikings. The meadow winds of the that crappy area of NJ had a big effect on this game, but not why Vikings won. Might have been worst with no wind.
Jets D is missing too many players and the O is down to some practice squad kid that played with Darnold at USC at WR. However, overall the OL held well, but Darnold showed rookie signs, especially in the second half.
πππΒ Buffalo Bills
Bills are off to one of worst offensive starts in memory. Like I predicted, that D would hold things close for one quarter. Old man Anderson was signed and started immediately, that is all we need to know about the disaster this regime has created at QB.
This mess created by GM/HC/Owner ( a year after making the playoffs) is averaging 11.57 points per game!!!!!! Now let us actually put it all in proper perspective, they actually scored 27 in Minnesota, an aberration. If we take that away, they are averaging 9 points per game (a more realistic story of this team)!!!!!! Is it hard to imagine a team that finishes the year at less than 10 per……..this team is on pace…….and no, I do not hate the Bills, it’s hard to not see reality when its hitting you straight in your face!
π Miami Dolphins
When I was picking games yesterday, I was sure the Jets and Bills would lose, but I did go back and forth on Fins and Pats. Pats proved me wrong, but Fins did not. I mean when your vaunted run D gives up that many yards on the ground, YOU DO NOT deserve to win. Kerryon Johnson looked like Barry Sanders was back in a Detroit uniform.
It is hard to see how the Fins regroup and travel to Houston and beat the Texans, especially not without their star player at the helm!!!
ππΒ New England Patriots
My apologies to all Pats fans this week, I really didn’t believe they go into Chicago and win, and it was damn close, but Pats did win! I’m still not sold on this team as I have been in previous years. BB was clearing CAP room (pulling a Tannenbaum with Gilmore), I’m guessing there is a trade in the works. Cap space is still rather tiny at 7.4M, but they can fit a couple of scrubs that can help.
