From a football perspective, this actually amounts to an interesting matchup. While the winless Browns have little to feel good about, the fact that they’ve played solid defensive football is enough to provide some hope that they can best the confounding Bengals, who run the ball with no consistency or efficiency and seemingly define the term “one-dimensional” offensively. The Bengals have a few threads of playoff hope left, which would be motivation for many teams to play harder than usual…or for the opposition to do the same.

Green Bay Packers @ Pittsburgh Steelers

Preview:
This ranks as possibly the league’s biggest mismatch this week, as the floundering Packers simply aren’t capable of playing decent football without all-world quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Backup QB Brett Hundley hasn’t even been average, and the depth surrounding him is inadequate for a neophyte QB to succeed. The Steelers will win this one simply by going through the motions, and it wouldn’t be too surprising to see their backups play a bit more than usual.
