Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Dec. 31, 1:00 pm EST, CBS
Preview:
With the Steelers entertaining the prospect of playing without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, running back Le’Veon Bell and wideout Antonio Brown, the Browns appear to be in perfect position to avoid a winless season. While the Browns may not be able to generate much offensively, they should be able to score enough points to register a second straight one-win campaign, which is a dubious achievement of its own.
Key Players:
Browns – RB Duke Johnson, S Jabrill Peppers, DE Myles Garrett
Steelers – WR Martavis Bryant, DE Stephon Tuitt, S Mike Mitchell
Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens
Dec. 31, 4:25 pm EST, CBS
Preview:
The Ravens finally have something to play for, and the Bengals, having clinched a losing record, appear not to. Expect the Ravens to play their starters until the game is no longer in doubt, which, given the Bengals’ recent performance, ought to be some time in the second quarter.
Key Players:
Bengals – QB Andy Dalton, RB Joe Mixon, LB Carl Lawson
Ravens – QB Joe Flacco, WR Breshad Perriman, CB Brandon Carr
