Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
1:00 pm EST, CBS
Preview:
The Ravens, having barely escaped a shutout in London last week but still fraught with embarrassment, return home to welcome their longtime rivals in the Steelers, who seek to avenge a little embarrassment of their own in Chicago last week. Given that this matchup is rarely pretty to watch, expect the usual punches and counterpunches – often literally – and little meaningful offense. Lots and lots of rushing will be had, which, given the state of the Ravens’ offensive line, favors the Steelers.
Key players:
Ravens – DT Michael Pierce, DE Brandon Williams, RB Alex Collins
Steelers – RB Le’Veon Bell, LB Ryan Shazier, S Sean Davis
Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
1:00 pm EST, CBS
Preview:
The Bengals’ frustration is most likely boiling over at this point, as they’ve experimented with finding new and profound ways to lose in their first three games. We’ll most likely see a fevered effort from the Bengals’ offense and second-week offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. The Browns must create more balance in their offensive approach by running the football or they stand to fall behind early. Pressure must be taken off rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer.
Key Players:
Bengals – RB Joe Mixon, QB Andy Dalton (who else?), LB Vontaze Burfict
Browns – RB Isaiah Crowell, RT Shon Coleman, WR Ricardo Louis
