MIAMI DOLPHINS

Matt Moore, QB
Louis Delmas, S
Knowshon Moreno, RB
Jared Odrick, DT
Daryn Colledge, G
Samson Satele, C
Charles Clay, TE
Jimmy Wilson, S
Jason Trusnik, LB
Jason Fox, OT
Kelvin Sheppard, LB
Daniel Thomas, RB

My opinion is Odrick, Jimmy Wilson & Charles Clay make up Miami’s 3 biggest free agents. Although he played in all 16 games Odrick’s numbers were down compared to other years but is probably Miami’s best defensive lineman after Cam Wake. Jimmy Wilson missed 2 games but was pretty solid this year setting a career highs in total tackles, combined tackles and assists. With Delmas also a FA,thinking would be either him or Wilson get brought back seeing these 2 were pretty much Miami’s only 2 SS on the team.Charles Clay finished 3rd on the team in receptions, targets, receiving yards,1st downs & tds while having the most YAC yards. The toughest decision might be is it worth bringing Matt Moore back at roughly 4M a year to be Tanny’s backup or go with drafting a mid to late round QB and hope Tannehill doesn’t get hurt.Moreno might be willing to come back on another one year deal after signing for one year last offseason and only playing 3 games.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Darrelle Revis, CB (2015 team option)
Devin McCourty, S
Dan Connolly, G
Stephen Gostkowski, K
Shane Vereen, RB
Stevan Ridley, RB
Akeem Ayers, LB
Jonathan Casillas, LB
Alan Branch, DE

Pats priorities in order are Revis, McCourty, Gostkowski, Connolly & Vereen. Resigning Revis will prove to be the toughest one. There is close to no way NE picks up that team option at 20+M for next year. My thinking would be to try to setup a deal like Revis had in Tampa Bay where he was basically on a series of 1-year deals at top dollar for his position. We all know he is greedy when it comes contract time so hopefully a winning atmosphere has changed that a bit here in NE. McCourty will also be a tough resign seeing he is regarded as a top 10 safety by most NFL experts. He’ll need at least a 5yr-43M deal w/20M guaranteed or he won’t be the highest paid safety in house own family. Gostkowski is coming off another solid season where he set the all time record for most points scored in NE history while Connolly has proven to be one of NE’s best offensive lineman this season. Vereen would be my choice at RB over Ridley where he may be cheaper than Ridley. James White never really showed he can play in the Vereen 3rd down back role where as Blount, Grey & Bolden are all capable RBs in the Ridley mold. Wouldn’t mind seeing Ayers & Branch back come back on cheap deals.

BUFFALO BILLS

Jerry Hughes, DE
Erik Pears, G
Brandon Spikes, ILB
Da’Norris Searcy, S
Marcus Easley, WR
Lee Smith, TE
Jarius Wynn, DE
Deonte Thompson, WR
C.J. Spiller, RB (must void contract)

Buffalo’s FA situation will be tough to predict as will NY’s seeing Rex might try to purge the Jets of some of their FAs and bring them to Buffalo. Hughes seems like a guy Rex might keep around depending on his price. He’s coming off a 9.5 sacks season and some may say he’s a product of his defensive line’s play. His asking price may be out of Buffalo’s range seeing he’s coming off 19.5 sacks over the past 2 seasons and should see plenty of attention once free agency starts. Spikes is coming off a decent season where he went to Buffalo on a 1 year deal. My thinking would be he’s looking for something longer this time around and Buffalo might not be the place with the emergence of Preston Brown & Kiko coming back from injury. Spiller seems like another guy Rex would keep around seeing Buffalo will more than likely be a run oriented team come next season. The Jets with Chan Gailey might compete for Spiller’s services seeing CJ had his best seasons in Chan’s system. Da’Norris Searcy is coming off his best season and should be a possible resign in Buffalo

NEW YORK JETS

David Harris, LB
Michael Vick, QB
Kyle Wilson, CB
Willie Colon, G
Dawan Landry, S
Bilal Powell, RB
Kenrick Ellis, DT
John Conner, FB

The Jets don’t have many free agents and the few who are could be heading to Buffalo soon, mainly being David Harris & Bilal Powell. David Harris led the team in tackles and seems like a guy Rex might grab. He’s not on the level he was 3-4 years ago but he is still a solid MLB. NY is thin at MLB after Harris so look for them to try to resign him. Powell may end up switching teams with Spiller. He shouldn’t cost as much as him as well. Michael Vick’s time with the Jets is more than likely done. He was turnover prone when he did play and its hard to think he tutored Geno in any way seeing his play was so bad. The Jets probably look elsewhere for a veteran QB. Kyle Wilson’s time in NY was a disappointment considering he was a 1st round pick and never lived up to expectations. Expect NY to draft multiple CBs as well as looking free agency. Dawan Landry had a good season and teamed with Calvin Pryor giving NY a solid duo at safety.
