Well, it looks like the Buffalo Bills training camp quaterback battle has been put on hold.
The team has announced today that newly aquired rookie quaterback, EJ Manuel will be missing the rest of the pre-season with a knee injury.
A Team statement on the Bills official website states that:
“EJ Manuel had some swelling in his left knee this morning and was examined by our medical staff. An MRI revealed that he will need to have a minor knee procedure and that has been scheduled.”
They also went on to state that veteran quaterback Kevin Kolb will be the starter in the upcoming game against the Washington Redskins on August 24th.
Adding insult to injury, wide receiver Kevin Elliot has also been sidelined with a torn ACL and will be missing the rest of the season. Elliot injured his left knee during last nights game against the Vikings.
