Geno Smith, will he be the starter?

Geno was thrown onto a role he was not ready for, thanks to a Rex blunder in a meaningless pre-season game. He has been far from good, but has shown signs of abilities. This year he has Fitzmagic pushing him, does he start the year? IMO Jets brass would love him to with the hope that he has taken a step forward into resolving the QB issues….we shall see
