Hopefully everyone had an enjoyable Easter weekend. Both divisions were in agreement, selecting Teddy Bridgewater as the clear favorite for Minnesota at #8. Here is the AFC North draft so far:
Houston – Jadeveon Clowney
St. Louis – Sammy Watkins
Jacksonville – Khalil Mack
Cleveland – Johnny Manziel
Oakland – Blake Bortles
Atlanta – Jake Matthews
Tampa Bay – Mike Evans
Minnesota – Teddy Bridgewater
Buffalo is now on the clock. The perennial underachievers have added some quality talent to their roster this offseason. RB Anthony Dixon gives Buffalo a three-headed monster in the backfield, CB Corey Graham brings a solid veteran presence to the secondary, LBs Keith Rivers and Brandon Spikes will add a new flavor to the middle of the defense, G Chris Williams will be a monster on the interior of the O-Line, and WR Mike Williams could possibly be Buffalo’s new #1 if he gets his act together. Buffalo has certainly improved the roster in comparison to last year, but their are a few positions in need of upgrades if they want to finally get over the hump.
RT is the most obvious need for the Bills, which would assuredly put Greg Robinson and Taylor Lewan in play with the #9 pick. Buffalo could look to upgrade Da’Norris Searcy at S with either of the top S prospects in Ha Ha Clinton-Dix or Calvin Pryor. TE Eric Ebron has also been speculated as a possibility for the Bills. Selecting a TE that high could be a stretch, but it would give Buffalo a ridiculous amount of offensive weapons for second year QB EJ Manuel.
