What a great Thanksgiving! Good food, good beer, and a GOOD GOD DAMN GAME!
The Good: SlickVinny won’t admit it, but there was nothing but good things done by Josh Allen in this game. He threw for a career high 79.8% completions, 231 yards, one TD, no INTs, and he tacked on 43 yards rushing and another TD. Those two TDs extended his streak of games with two or more TDs to a league best eight in a row. This was his best game in the NFL and showed the growth he has made since his first start in 2018.
The Bad: I guess I could say that the mishandled snap was a bad thing, but considering the outcome it’s really hard to hold that against him.
The Ugly: NOTHING! Since the Patriots game, Allen has totaled 18 TDs and only two turnovers. That’s pretty impressive and so what if some of those TDs came on runs? They still count for six points, don’t they? If Allen continues this upward trend, then watch out.
On an unrelated note:
The Bills at Cowboys game was the highest rated Thanksgiving Day game in the last 27 years.
Since then, the Bills have been flexed into a Sunday Night Football game against the Steelers.
I think the offense is coming together at the right time. This Sunday vs Baltimore will be a true test.
