Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers
November 17, 8:25pm EST, NBC/NFLN
Preview:
The Steelers welcome the puzzling Titans to Pittsburgh, as no one can really determine how good the Titans are. They have a superlative rushing attack and feature two of the top ten running backs in the NFL (in this author’s humble opinion, anyway) and an opportunistic defense, not to mention a much-changed division in the AFC South. It’s safe to speculate about their chances of securing a first-round bye week in this year’s playoffs.
The Steelers are beginning to hit their stride as the colder months approach. Despite some offensive consternation, their record is roughly where most thought it would be at this point, especially given the general weakness of the AFC North and the wealth of talent (particularly on offense) that’s starting to jell. Tonight’s game will be a good test against a potential playoff team and should be a better indication of the “real” Steelers going forward.
Key players:
Titans – RB DeMarco Murray, WR Rishard Matthews, DT Jurrell Casey
Steelers – RB Le’Veon Bell, LB Ryan Shazier, DT Javon Hargrave
