Week 3, woo. Last week was fun, with all teams winning, two of them pulling off improbable comebacks to do so.
Sadly, the Bills’ dominant victory came at the cost of about seven injuries to key players, so they might actually lose to Miami for the first time in forever. Maybe.
Oh, and I guess the Patriots won against a TWatt-less Steelers team, so that’s cool.
This week’s can’t miss picks from CJ: (ignore the fact that I was 0-3 last week.
Ravens @ Patriots: The Ravens are the better team, but will they mentally fold after a huge blown lead in the 4th quarter last week? Patriots 23, Ravens 20.
Bengals @ Jets: The Jets pulled off a miracle win last week, but I don’t see them getting that lucky again. Fortunately, they may not need luck to beat a floundering Bengals team. Bengals in a close one, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Jets win again. Bengals 27, Jets 23.
Bills @ Dolphins: The marquee matchup of the week for the entire NFL, the surprisingly 2-0 Dolphins hosting the Bills. The Bills are decimated on defense and are now without their starting center. Miami has the best group of skill players they’ve seen in decades and a QB who might actually be coming into his own. I expect a shootout with the Bills losing on a last second blocked FG. Dolphins 44, Bills 42.
